I often use symbols to illustrate the theme of a painting.  In Spheres Of Unity, the large bold gold circle on the left symbolizes the profound source of love, while the three smaller gold circles on the right represent the diverse connections and relationships that stem from that love. 
 
Embedded within the layers of paint are formulas from chemistry and physics, such as the calculation for the moment of inertia, the trajectory of movement, and cellular respiration. These scientific elements underscore the painting's theme, illustrating how love and connection are not just emotional experiences but are also deeply rooted in the fundamental principles of the universe.
